THE LIFESIDE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to The Lifeside. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between you (“Client”) and The Lifeside (“Coach,” “Service Provider,” “I,” or “we”). By booking or participating in any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Nature of Services

The Lifeside provides non-clinical, faith-based relational support and coaching designed to nurture emotional, spiritual, and relational wellbeing. Services may include conversation, guided reflection, faith-based insight, and supportive companionship. These services are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical advice, or crisis intervention. Clients are encouraged to seek licensed professional or medical care when appropriate.

2. Client Understanding & Responsibility

Clients acknowledge that:

• All sessions are for personal growth, reflection, and support purposes.

• Participation in services is voluntary and may involve emotional exploration.

• The Client remains fully responsible for personal decisions, actions, and outcomes.

• The Lifeside is not liable for any direct or indirect results stemming from services provided.

3. Confidentiality

All personal information shared in sessions is kept private and confidential.

Confidentiality may only be broken if:

• There is an immediate risk of harm to self or others.

• There is disclosure of abuse, neglect, or illegal activity requiring reporting by law.

• Records are lawfully requested by court order.

The Lifeside does not share or sell any client information to third parties.

4. Communication & Boundaries

• Sessions may take place in person, by phone, or through text-based check-ins, depending on service type.

• The Lifeside does not provide 24/7 or emergency support.

• Text communication outside scheduled sessions is limited to agreed-upon check-ins or reminders.

• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or seek immediate professional support.

5. Session Policies

• Session Duration: All in-person or phone sessions are a minimum of two hours.

• Late Arrivals: Time lost due to lateness may not be extended.

• Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a 50% session fee.

• Refunds: Once a session has begun, payments are non-refundable.

• Packages: Session packages must be used within the designated timeframe (typically 30–60 days).

6. Payments

Payment is due at or before the time of service, unless otherwise arranged. The Lifeside accepts electronic payment methods as outlined at the time of booking. Failure to provide timely payment may result in cancellation of future sessions. Currently Insurance is not accepted.

7. Faith-Based Approach

The Lifeside integrates Christian faith principles into sessions when desired or welcomed by the client. Faith-based insights, prayer, and reflection are offered respectfully and are never imposed. Clients of all faiths or none are welcome.

8. Disclaimer of Guarantees

While many clients experience personal growth, emotional renewal, or improved wellbeing, outcomes vary based on individual readiness and participation. The Lifeside does not guarantee specific results or promise resolution of emotional or spiritual challenges.

9. Intellectual Property

All written materials, tools, and session concepts created by The Lifeside remain the intellectual property of The Lifeside and may not be copied, shared, or reproduced without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating in any The Lifeside service, the Client agrees to hold harmless The Lifeside, Rosie Carter, and any affiliates from liability for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from participation in services, including but not limited to emotional distress, decisions, or actions taken following sessions.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from services will be handled within the jurisdiction of California courts.

12. Agreement

By booking, attending, or participating in a The Lifeside session or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above.
